This College runs Bachelor level programs such as B.C.A and B.B.S of Tribhuvan University-the oldest and renowned University of Nepal at Balkhu.
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is four years eight semesters program. This is a blend of theoretical and technical knowledge about computer applications and its uses. The course is classified in groups which are core courses, elective courses, mathematical and statistical courses, language courses, social science and management courses, project and internships of 126 credit hours.
This course is flexible and also interdisciplinary. The BCA graduates can work in IT Companies Manufacturing Industries, Banks and Financial Companies, NGOs where computer applications are widely used and they can fill positions such as system analyst, system managers,project managers, database administrators, IT officer, back-end users etc. The salary is a handsome amount. BCA also opens door to further studies such as MBA, MCA, MIT.
Students who wish to join BCA program must have completed Plus2, PCL or equivalent with second division marks or 2.0 CGPA. They must have D+ grade and above in all subjects. They must also appear for admission test conducted by TU and only pass out students can get admission at Vishwa Adarsha College.
