Nava Kshitiz College Bardibas, Mahottari has been approved by University Grants Commission. It is affiliated to Tribhuvan University. It is running BSW, BCA B.Ed programs of Tribhuvan University.It is a public campus that strives to serve with quality education to produce skilled manpower required for job markets and give chance to less privileged people to learn so that their education help them earn a decent living.
Bachelor of Computer Application BCA was launched in 2074/75. BCA program brings out graduates who later become high quality computer application users and developers. The four years program is grouped into eight semesters of studies. (1 year=2 semesters). The course is total of 126 credit hours. It comprises core courses, elective courses, mathematical and statistical courses, language courses, social science and management courses, project works and internships.
To be eligible students must have D+ grade in all subjects and have scored CGPA 2.0 and above or minimum second division marks in PCL, Plus 2 or equivalent in any discipline. BCA graduates can hold various job positions in Management and IT sector. They can work as system analyst, system managers, software developers, back end managers, IT officers and can pursue Masters level studies like MIT, MCA, MBA in government and private sector jobs.
For admission the candidates should appear and pass the entrance exam of Tribhuvan University. Students passing on merit basis will be shortlisted for selection of new intake for BCA program of Tribhuvan University.
