Model campus Damak was established in 2060 B.S. The mission of this campus is to impart right education with competency, culture and compassion. It has been providing diverse programs that consist of Science, Management, Humanities,Education. It offers Bachelors level programs such as B.B.S, B.A., B.Ed,B.C.A programs of Tribhuvan University.
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) is a four year, eight semesters program of T.U. The objective of BCA program is to produce computer application users and developers of high quality. Students with minimum 2.0 CGPA or second division marks in Plus2, PCL or equivalent can apply for BCA program.
The job prospects of BCA program is good. The graduates are sought after by software, multinational, private companies in Nepal. They can work in various job positions such as system analyst, system managers, database administrators and can also opt for further studies such as MCA, MIT, MBA.
BCA is a interdisciplinary programs that link Management and IT. The courses are both theory and practical. It comprises core computer application courses, elective courses, mathematical and statistical courses, language courses, social science and management courses. Project works and internship is also necessary for partial completion of BCA program of T.U.
Admission is based on entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University. Only pass out students on merit basis will be given priority. Model Campus Damak also provides counselling service and it also provides scholarship to needy and deserving students.
