Golden Gate International College was established by group of reputed academicians with an objective of world class University within decade. Located at Trikuti Colony, Old Baneshwar, Golden gate offers Four year Bachelor level courses of Tribhuvan University and one of them is Bachelor in Computer Application BCA. The College is well equipped with modern state of art facilities with sports, hostels, transportation and cafeteria.
Golden gate College is also associated with Advanced College of Engineering and Management. For successful enrollment in BCA program students must have passed PCL or Plus 2 equivalent examinations with 40 percent marks or 2 CGPA. They must fill and submit their application forms against the admission fees decided by the College. Then appear the entrance exams and after the students have been shortlisted they need to appear on an interview for final selection for BCA program at Golden Gate College. Besides the core courses which has 71 credit hours, there are elective and language courses (12+6 ) credit hours, mathematical courses 9 credit hours, social science and management courses 15 credit hours, project work and internship( compulsory) with 13 credit hours. During this period the students will have learned entire theory and practical courses along with hands on working experience to be able to decide and embark on their careers as Computer and Information system managers, computer support specialists, computer system analysts, IT officer, and Network and computer system administrators from BCA at Golden Gate International College, Kathmandu.
